It is a few minutes drive from the famous Sanctuary of the "Madonna del Sasso",
also known as "the balcony of Cusio". From thereyou can enjoy
a spectacular view of the whole lake, the "Mottarone" and the Alps.

PLACES OF INTEREST
"On the western shore we can find the village of
"San Mauriziod'Opaglio", the real central business district
of the entire area, with several and historical factories that
help to sustain the economy of the Region.
On the eastern shore rises "Orta San Giulio", declared one
of the most beautiful villages in Italy, as well as the "heart"
of the "Riviera" community, with its famous Lake
and its beautiful "San Giulio Island...".
The San Giulio Island , can be easily reached by boat all year long. On the Island you can visit the historical "San Giulio Cathedral" and the "Convent of the Benedictine Nuns";
( Abbazia Mater Ecclesiae).
Finally, you cannot miss the chance to get to the top of
"Mottarone", a local mountain from where you can have a breathtaking view of the entire area.
